Tango tours and trips to Buenos Aires, Argentina - Come with us to the city where tango was born!• Next Trip - leaving November 2023 Returning December, 2023 Every year (since 1998) Loisa goes to Buenos Aires in order to keep her tango pure and high-quality. While there, she dances, learns, teaches, performs, practices and mostly has fun! She loves to share her love of Buenos Aires with others. Come along on her tango tour and get the most out of a trip to Buenos Aires, and save money and time. Many of the people who have come with her return to BA time and time again - it's that much fun! And each year is different. "Loisa Donnay is such an awesome guide here in Buenos Aires. We are so busy every day and dance every night." "This was such a great experience!" "Some of the better (if not the best) guys are asking me to dance, whereas before I sat more of the time." And: "This is a special group. Loisa, you are amazing, and I don't think I adequately expressed my appreciation for your work, your kindness and care, your good humour, and making everything safe and easy for us, and sharing your social network. Thank you." Your trip may include such great things as:
We always stay for a month starting in mid-November, but you can stay for less time if you would like. All of this is available for as low as $950/week (7 days), double occupancy, $1250/week singles. Airfare not included. Let Loisa help you find what you need. From medical care, dental and medicines, to teachers, salons, shoes and even fortune tellers, there are great deals to be had in Buenos Aires. Let Loisa know what you need, and she will help you to find the right provider. For information on how you can join the group for the next B.A. trip, contact Loisa. The non-refundable deposit is due by July 31st. Interested in medical, dental or beauty services while in Buenos Aires? (Did you know that coronary bypass surgery was invented in Argentina?) Loisa has helped many people get services like dental implants, facelifts, body lifts, breast implants/reductions etc while in Buenos Aires. Often, the care can be better than what you can receive in the US. You can save 2/3rds or more off the cost of similar procedures in the U.S, and often the care is better, because it will include a hospital stay rather than outpatient, and even a doctor coming to you check on you!. "I suppose I should give you a little update on what we are doing while I recharge my tango soul down here in Buenos Aires. Of course, we're dancing every day. I'm also meeting with my friends, and enjoying the lovely relaxed culture of the Porteno's. It is hard to describe, but enjoying life is of paramount importance to the citizens of Buenos Aires. When you are down here, it is all about conversation, enjoying each other, enjoying a dance, enjoying the music - as long as you are happy. So we have been eating Bife de Lomo and empanadas with Vino Tinto under the BA moon, while we discuss the world's problems and tell jokes - then we share our souls in a dance. During the day we poke into stores, laugh with the storekeepers, take a dance lesson, relax with a Cafe con Leche, and walk down the purple-covered avenues-the Jacaranda trees are dropping their blossoms. Occasionally we hear a tango coming out of a storefront window or a parked car's radio, and we can't help but dance a little in the street, to the immense joy of the Portenos. On Sunday we performed at a Feria outside of town - the crowd went wild and hugged and kissed us as if we were straight out of Corrientes (BA's Broadway). The weather has been beautiful, sunny, 75 to 85 degrees, and gardenias perfume the air. At least until we were invited by a friend to go sailing on Saturday, when we had torrential rain. So we sat in the marina and laughed, then went to a milonga where they danced a lot of Canyengue and we had two bottles of Champagne to celebrate that we were alive."
